Iwatodai was fun. Especially the beach. A nice break from all the sun and sand around here. The city sure has a lot of convenient technology: air conditioning, vending machines, that bullet train... but I don't think I could ever live there. Finally back in Midland after spending five days on the Filgaia Express. Pretty uneventful. At least I managed to nick free food during the majority of the trip. And catch up on some reading. Okay, remind me never to do that again. Skeletal warriors, animated dolls armed with huge shears, ghouls, zombies. There was even a powerful Lich guarding this cursed ring, which we had to carry outside so it could be purified in sunlight. Only problem is that simply being close to the damn thing weakens your life force.
